Congratulations to all the students who had work accepted to the Glen Rose ISD 2024 Art Show! Their amazing work can be viewed in person from March 31- April 14 at Barnard’s Mill. Please see Barnard’s Mill for hours. Work will be judged by local artists and then awarded at the Awards Reception at 2 pm on April 14th.
Glen Rose ISD would like to thank the Glen Rose High School National Art Honor Society (GRHS NAHS) and Barnard’s Mill for their continued support for our district art program and art students. Barnard’s Mill is not only the host for the district art show, but also provides the adjudication and awards for each of the winning students. We are also grateful for the partnership they have provided GRHS NAHS as they continue the Barnard’s Mill Scholarship Fund. In May, they will award graduating seniors who have met the requirement for excellence.
The arts have a long history of bringing people together across boundaries. Artists and arts organizations are an important resource in our path to building stronger connections. We are thankful for Barnard’s Mill and GRHS NAHS, the opportunities they create for our students, and everyone who has partnered with us to make this year so successful.
